Marcy has worked all over Muskoka in children's programming for over 20 years. She is known for her ability to create programming that builds self-confidence, self-worth, and respect. Her love of God and desire to teach our youth that in Christ you are never alone brought her to Muskoka Community Church.
In 2016, with a handful of youth Marcy launched MCC’s first youth group, Atomic Youth. In addition, Marcy began to develop a strong outreach following giving other youth a safe space to explore Jesus.
Since then Marcy has been creating an amazing safe space at The DoorYouth Center for both churched and unchurched kids with an awesome ministry opportunity for all.

Katherine ("Kath") leads our Welcome and Connections Team, helping newcomers feel welcomed and get connected to the church community. Katherine is a Regional Director for a hotel company that takes her across Canada and the United States; however Huntsville it the place she has always called home and moved back to the area in 2015 to be closer to her full extended family.
Our Leadership Team (board) serves behind the scenes by facilitating big-picture decisions, managing the budget and finances, and overseeing aspects of the church relating to legal and policy issues. Members are:
Paul Brittain, Mike Malone (treasurer), Lynda Richards, Mark Campbell, Jeremy McClung
Mike and his wife Virginia have been involved in MCC since the Riverside days, and have served a variety of churches since they had a fairly dramatic conversion to Christianity in their twenties. Because of this, their heart is for people outside of the church, and discipling those new to the faith. Of course, their heart is also with their two daughters and grandchildren, with whom they spend as much time as possible. For many years, Mike has owned and operated a cleaning/janitorial services company, and understands both the challenges of small business and how faith in God can make business ownership easier. He brings both his business experience and faith into his role as treasurer at MCC, and is often reminding our team to trust in God.
Paul and his family a part of MCC before we even launched Sunday services. Both he and his wife Beth have past experience in camping ministry and Christian leadership development. His love for fishing, whitewater, and being out in nature matches well with his career in a wholesale kayak and outdoor equipment sales. Our longest-serving member of leadership team, Paul contributes, thoughtfulness, deep insights and wisdom—particularly when we’re struggling with difficult issues.
Lynda and her husband moved into the Huntsville area in 2013 and wake up each morning thanking God for providing a home and friends in this amazing part of the province. She brings a background in human resources and administration to the leadership team and also volunteers as a small group leader and prayer team member. Having traveled on mission trips to Kenya, Rwanda, and Haiti, Lynda has developed a heart for serving others through word and deed. Now that she's retired, she enjoys connecting with God while working in her garden or paddling her kayak. She and her husband, Ray, love hosting friends and neighbors in their home as well as playing with their granddaughters.
