Muskoka Community Church is led by men and women who serve according to their gifts.
In addition to a full-time pastor, there are a number of volunteer leaders who give their time to facilitate various areas of ministry, as well as a governance board ("Leadership Team") that oversees policy, budget, and big picture decisions.
Jeremy and his wife April moved to Huntsville in 2007 in order to start Muskoka Community Church. They have three children attending Huntsville schools, and are actively involved in many aspects of the local community. Born and raised in Fort Erie, Ontario, Jeremy studied at Huntington University in Indiana, before serving churches in Winchester, Virginia. After graduating with his MA from McMaster Divinity College in 2017, he plans to pursue doctoral studies in the near future. In his free time, he enjoys art, music, curling, golf, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
Volunteer Ministry Leaders
Micki coordinates our efforts to serve and do good in our community, overseeing a team that plans service projects, benevolence, and support of other local agencies. She is passionate about her husband and son and loves to help people get healthy through USANA products. She works for the Huntsville Forester as an advertising representative.
April helps people find their best fit at MCC by helping our ministry leaders communicate their needs, and by helping people understand their gifting. If you're interested in volunteering, you can fill out a questionnaire here, and April will follow up with you. She has three children with her husband Jeremy (MCC's pastor), and is involved in Rotary, the Curling Club, and Huntsville Soccer Club. She is a full-time financial consultant.
Lynda oversees our efforts at communication at Muskoka Community Church, particularly our weekly email updates and our bulletin boards, as well as working with others to keep up with social media, the website, and community advertising. She and her husband Ray recently made Huntsville their home after many years in the GTA. She enjoys her children and young grandchildren.
