what's happening - for children

Our AdventureLand program is a safe, fun and loving environment for kids that runs during the Sunday service. Children enjoy singing and learning motions to upbeat songs, playing games, doing crafts and learning about God on their own level. For kids from Grade 1 to Grade 5, we use 252 Basics, a virtue-based curriculum that focuses on a different character trait (e.g. honesty, discipline, resourcefulness) each month using stories and passages from the Bible, while the younger class focuses on the basics of loving God and others. Our take-home materials equip parents to partner with us in the spiritual growth of their child.
A typical Sunday schedule might look like this:
10:15-10:30 – Check-in, new registrations and hang-out time
10:30-10:45 – Beginning activity
10:45-11:00 – Music
11:00-11:15 – Snack
11:15-11:30 – Lesson & prayer
11:30-11:50 – Follow-up activities
11:55-12:00 - Dismiss
We also offer a nursery for babies so that parents can focus on the service.
